Help AG is looking for a Strategic Vendor Manager who will be responsible for building and managing relationships with Help AG Group’s strategic vendor partners and suppliers. The Strategic Vendor Manager has a strong commercial focus for Help AG’s business and ensures that all the internal stakeholders are in alignment with business direction and committed requirements. This position will also be responsible for all tactical aspects relating to the development of new initiatives and implementation of new programs and services.
Responsibilities
Track and report on the performance of selected vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
Negotiate vendor contribution, back-end rebate programs, commercial terms, key projects for supply and support to exceed Help AG’s businessobjectives.
Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors and suppliers as well as internal stakeholders.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with vendor to address issues and explore new opportunities to improve program profitability.
Identify improvement areas internally as well as perform closely with all internal stakeholders to prepare solutions.
Evaluate potential vendors using developed and agreed criteria to support business requirements.
Manage outward communication to vendors to facilitate understanding and awareness of organizational strategic direction, changes and challenges.
Manage the interaction between vendors and internal stakeholders within Help AG to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programs.
Develop ongoing partnership-based relationship to obtain regular updates on status of program.
Distribute information on products and services available or being developed.
Perform biannual risk reviews to update and refine business continuity and mitigation plans, and report on risks pertaining to the relationships.
Qualifications & Skills
University Degree related to Business Administration, IT, Information Security or similar work experience.
Minimum of 5yrs working experience in the vendor channel space.
Fundamental understanding of Cyber security basic and modern concepts related to firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, endpoints, data leakage prevention, proxies, CASB, SASE, virtualized security functions, data security, security operations tools, GRC and user education/ user security.
Team Leadership experience.
Working experience in dealing with complex situations especially pertaining to managing multiple vendors overlapping or conflicting expectations in HELP AG Groups business.
Outstanding professional communication, attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong negotiation capabilities.
Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills.
Being able to understand complex business processes and activities.

Ability to manage vendor expectations and/or escalations from stakeholders within Help AG.
